There she was, just lying on the floor with nothing to do on a cold Dublin Saturday. "I'm bored, daddy," she cooed in a language intelligable only to mum and dad. "Well, get up off that cute tushy and show off your skills," I replied.... and she did :)
First, she sat up in her Bumbo seat demonstrating excellent head control. Then, as if that wasn't enough, she showed off her dramatically improved manual dexterity by playing with rings (and chewing on them)!Later, she told me she wanted to stand up. I said, "you're crazy, munchkin - 4 months is much to young for that sort of thing!" "Trust me, daddy," she replied, "I just need a little help getting started!"
I guess she showed me :)
