Well, it's probably no surprise that July passed by in the blink of an eye! Thought we would share some cute pictures from the month. We are trying to do some fun things for Sophie since she has had such a huge change in her life, so one night in July we met up with her friend Joseph and went to watch a movie outside on the great lawn at the Zoo! It was so much fun and probably the latest Sophie has ever stayed up :) Here are she and Joseph in the wagon getting ready to watch the movie.
We are happy to report that Jack is doing great! He had his two month check up this week and weighs in at a whopping 13 lbs 3 oz and is 24.5 inches long! He's about 80th percentile for both weight and height! The doctor said he was perfectly proportioned. He's getting to be a very smiley baby and some of the newborn fussiness is wearing off :) I have recently discovered that he loves being bathed in the baby tub - I had been using the newborn insert but without it, he loves splashing around and he just giggles and wiggles up a storm. His favorite toy is probably his bouncer but he is starting to like the play gym too. He is beginning to grab for things which is very exciting! He sleeps pretty well at night (knock on wood!) but still wakes up once or twice for a feeding. I don't mind too much because he goes back to sleep right after, so we do okay. He's not so big on the napping though which we are working on :) I don't think they'll like that so much when he goes to day care!!

Such a manly look - if you can look manly in a pristine white outfit! Thanks to Elizabeth and Jim for the cute polo romper - let's just say it didn't stay pristine for long!
