It's officially one week until we move home -- and we are going to have a very busy last week in Boston, starting with our first family Red Sox game :) Andrew has been to games on his own, and I went to a game with Sophie and 'Unca' Daniel but we had never been together until today! We actually hadn't planned on taking Sophie but we had some babysitting issues so we made it a family event and Sophie was about as good as you can expect an 18 month old to be at a baseball game! She loved the music and the crowds and asked everyone around us for a 'bite' of their munchies (blush!). In case anyone is wondering, yes we did indulge her with a helmet of soft serve ice cream. You can see the pic of the helmet below! We made it to the seventh inning stretch on a 45 minute nap for the day and we were pretty proud of our girl -- especially when a mom of a four year old told Andrew at the concession stand (in the sixth inning) that the rule of thumb was an inning per year of age. Sophie was a little amazed when everyone started singing 'Take me out to the ball game' -- I'm sure she thought that was a Sophie exclusive, but she got really excited after the initial shock. Sophie was a champ and is gearing up for her final week in Boston -- and very excited for a visit from Uncle Todd and Aunt Nikke (Daddy's roommate from college and his wife)! There will surely be more photos to come soon in the next week, so stay tuned!!

Sophie was a little scared of the crowd and noise at first but she got the hang of it after a while and started clapping! She even enjoyed the wave!

We got some good pictures of the fam at the ball park. Her little toy in the pics with Mommy is 'Wally' the Green Monster :) This last photo has Sophie looking a little dazed and confused when she tried to put the ice cream helmet on her head!
Love,
Kate, Andrew, and Sophie!
