Sophie has a home!!

Well we closed on our house in Louisville today! We thought to celebrate we'd share some pictures with you. It's a great house in a really lovely neighborhood with a corner lot and fenced in backyard! We move in a few weeks and are so excited!

The living room has a large picture window and leads into the dining with these beautiful French doors that I did not do a great job of photographing :)

This is a sun porch in between the garage and the main house!

Lovely kitchen with travertine marble floors. We don't even really know what that is but it sure looks nice!

Sophie's room is already perfect obviously - pink and white stripes, can you believe it!?

Mommy especially is so excited to have a nice big bathroom after miniscule apartment bathrooms!! In addition to this big nice one we have two other FULL baths!

Last but certainly not least, a view of the basement. There is another finished part that will be a great playroom for Sophie! Also a large unfinished side with lots of shelves and a work bench for Daddy.

And finally the obligatory Sophie pic :) After our weekend in NH she constantly wants to go 'hiking' and sometimes the best we can do is out on the sidewalk :) Doesn't seem to phase her a bit - as long as she has her stroller and 'Baby Augie'! As for the cute Sophie story of the week - she really likes to cuddle these days and will ask to 'lie down' on the couch to 'read book'. So we were lying on the couch today reading a book and when she decided she was done, she popped up and said 'lie UP!' Pretty good logic for an 18 month old don't you think?
