A belated Happy Easter everyone! Here are some pics of our Easter festivities. We did church and brunch with the Albers family and then dinner with the Renda/Hemmer clan! Sophie was lucky enough to have two beautiful Easter dresses to wear - the purple one in the picture above was actually made by Sally about 20 years ago for Emily! Sophie had a great visit home and Mommy and Daddy appear to have had success with the house hunting - more to come on that in the next blog post :) Sophie got to see all of her grandparents, most of her great grandparents, aunts, uncles, great aunts and uncles and cousins! We were shocked that she remembered everyone by name! Sophie's talking has just taken off in the last few weeks and she is learning words by the minute. One the important words she learned on her visit home was 'cuddle!' Her most often used phrase at the moment is 'help me' which is adorable. She has never before named any of the vegetables on her plate and tonight she looked down at her plate of broccoli and said 'boc-ci' :) It's kind of like she's stored up everything we've said for the past 17 months and is one at a time showing us that she knows what everything is. It's pretty exciting! I'll post more pictures soon of Sophie's latest trip to the zoo!
