Hello everyone! I'm blogging while watching the Super Bowl so don't yet know if 'our' team won :) The Giants are certainly making it interesting!! As you can see from the above picture, we dressed Sophie in her football jersey today in honor of the big game.
We are back in Boston and getting back to our usual routine. Daddy's schedule is a little lighter this semester so he's going to be home a lot more which is very nice! Sophie and Mommy have started a music class which Sophie seems to love.
Sophie is amazing as usual! Her vocabulary increases every day -- she is into H words this week and learned what 'hearts' are, how to say she's 'happy', and also how to ask for 'help'! It's really cute when she's playing with her toys and starts to get frustrated if she can't do what she wants to -- she'll look up at us and say 'hep!' She seems to love to play pretend with her stuffed animals and will put them all on the 'bed' (the ottoman), say 'night night' and then sing to them (which consists of various intonations of ya ya). While we were in Louisville in January, she got to watch a little Sesame Street and so she now has an Elmo obsession. Mia gave her an Elmo Valentine book and Honey gave her a talking Elmo doll and she will actually kiss them-- won't kiss Mommy or Daddy, just Elmo! However, she has started giving hugs which will just melt your heart :) Not much else to report -- these photos are a hodgepodge from the last month! Happy February!

Sophie has started (trying) to do the motions to the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" -- this is her spider.
And her sunshine :) (Sunshine also features prominently in her "zip a dee doo dah")
A couple of weeks ago we went to visit Mommy's Vandy friend Stacy, her husband Eric and their son Samuel in their new house in Norris TN! Sophie and Samuel had fun reading together :)
This week we took Sophie to the Boston Children's Museum - here she is trying to figure out the bubble exhibit!

Mama decided this week to get a pretty basket in which to keep Sophie's books - Sophie said 'hey this isn't just for books' and climbed right in.
BeeBee ordered Sophie her first political bumper sticker just in time for Super Tuesday -- Mommy and Daddy have a matching one for their car :) We fit right in in Boston!
Love, Andrew, Kate and Sophie
