Sophie: "I think it's my Daddy on the phone, I'd better take this"
Well, a belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone! We are always so much busier at home so we haven't had much time to update the blog lately. We hope you enjoy some holiday pictures. We had a great Christmas with all the family (and a 30th birthday for Daddy!) and we are still in Louisville because Andrew doesn't have to start class back until the end of January.
Sophie had a great Christmas and is loving being home with family. She knows everyone's names, even down to Daniel who she calls "Unca" because Daniel is a little hard. She has a ton of words now -- the latest today was hippo for her purple beanie baby hippopotamus :) She still loves her books but now is enjoying working puzzles and stacking blocks as well. As you may be able to tell from the picture, she likes to talk on the phone and will turn just about any object into a phone!! This week Sophie figured out how to spin around in circles and make herself dizzy so that's LOTS of fun. She also loves to play with her toy kitchen at Honey's and has learned how to rock her baby doll and feed it a bottle. She is doing about 10 new things every day and we are all having so much fun! We are constantly amazed by her and we feel so incredibly blessed.
As for us boring adults, we do actually have some news as well - Andrew accepted a job as a Clinical Innovations Consultant with Humana. This means we are OFFICIALLY coming home and starting work in July. We have had a lot of fun house hunting over the last couple of weeks -- we haven't found that perfect house yet but it's fun to start thinking about what we want. We are so excited to finally be coming home to family!
We are off this weekend to visit Todd and Nikke in Northern KY and then Sophie's boyfriend Samuel in Tennessee -- hopefully we'll have more pictures for you soon.

Proud Honey with her two gorgeous granddaughters!! And of course the beautiful dresses are Honey's creations!
Sophie enjoys her new house -- also known as the box from Honey and Beebee's new car seat!
Love,
