Breaking news to report today -- Sophie experienced her first snow storm!! The official count is 8.4 inches for our area which is actually a record for Boston for a December snow! We hope that doesn't mean we are in for it for the 'real' winter! We took Sophie out when it was first starting so you can only see a couple inches but we'll try to get more pictures tomorrow! Mommy has to go on a hunt for itty bitty snow boots before we take her out in the deep stuff :) We got a lot of laughs from people walking by while we were taking pictures -- one college student laughed particularly hard when Sophie toppled over and wound up on her back in the snow! Another nice lady offered to take a picture of the three of us and when we said "Thanks, it's her first snow", she said "Yeah, I could kind of tell." Typical Boston attitude :) Sophie was not all that impressed with the snow - but we're sure that after a winter in Boston she'll be well used to it! We're due another snow on Saturday so we'll keep you updated.

Sorry we missed you over Christmas. We hear from Dave that you're coming back to the 'Ville in the spring for good! Yay!
