Here are some pictures from the second part of our trip.
Our mornings always started the same. First, we got the munchkin dressed and took her to breakfast. She mostly played with toys while mommy and daddy ate, but gradually became more and more interested in what was on our plates. The big news is that we eventually let her try her first food - watermelon!
After breakfast we had to get Sophie covered in sunscreen. She thought it was strange at first, but eventually decided that it wasn't a bad deal getting a massage every morning :) After that, it was beach time again! She had a great time playing in the sand and showing off her sittin' up skills!
After a morning at the beach, we decided to try the pool. Sophie thought it was the biggest bath she had even seen! She splashed and played "motor boat" and had the best time with mommy and daddy!
After another fun day in the sun, Sophie and mommy had quiet time on the patio of our villa. Then it was time to get dressed up again for dinner! This time, dinner was a great adventure! Sophie and mommy got to pick out a fish to eat from a big tank in the restaurant! They selected a yummy Hamour fish from the local waters, and the chef prepared a fantastic spicey stir-fry!
The next day was cloudy with a bit of rain. Instead of moping around, though, we decided to introduce Sophie to her grandpa Dan's favorite game - golf! We thought it best to start on a mini-golf course. The first lesson was how to hold the club. It was more difficult than it sounds considering standing upright is still a challenge for our little girl. She performed admirably, though, and made her first put straight and true!
