Hi everyone! Sophie was very lucky to have her Uncle Daniel come visit this weekend! She was very excited to see him and showed him how she sticks out her tongue, waves bye bye and repeats everything you say :) ! We had a very busy weekend as we tried to pack the most important parts of Boston into 2 days. Unfortunately Daddy had to study this weekend because he has three tests this week, but Sophie, Mommy and Uncle Daniel had a couple of big days. On Saturday, we did some exploring of the historical areas and the parks downtown.

Some of the family by the water

After a couple hours on foot, Sophie needed a rest. Mommy loved this as Sophie doesn't tend to fall asleep in your arms anymore!! Daniel was a little jealous but Sophie made sure he got some good cuddles at bedtime!

Daniel took Sophie to explore the frog pond, which we didn't realize would be drained right now in preparation for it's winter function -- ice skating! So no fountains to splash in -- and no swan boats either as they apparently close up shop in mid-September. That just means that Daniel has to come back in the spring!

Sophie also enjoyed playing in the Public Garden and showing Uncle Daniel how she loves to swing -- she loves it even better in Uncle Daniel's hat!

And at the end of the day, Sophie likes to relax in her glider chair -- the beautiful cushions were made by her Honey!
