Eliza's First Communion!

Today was an exciting day in the Kelly family - Eliza, the oldest of Nonnie's 11 (soon to be 12!) great grandkids, had her First Communion! Doesn't she look beautiful? There was a fun party at the Kelly house and Sophie had a blast playing with the other kids in the very substantial backyard :) Speaking of amazing, we are all very impressed this weekend with Eliza's mom, Emily, who ran in the Kentucky Derby Marathon and came in 5th overall for the women! Amazing, indeed!

Things continue to go well with baby brother - Mommy had an appointment Friday and BP was still A OK! Everything was measuring right on track - we are grateful for every 'normal' appointment we have! Mommy could use some prayers this week though because she has a huge oral argument to do before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati - very much hoping for pregnancy sympathy votes! We are going to have an ultrasound in a few weeks to see how big baby brother is getting, so that should be fun! We are in the home stretch now!

Sophie enjoyed all the play equipment at the Kelly's :) Don't mind the two sticks in Sophie's hand - they were her 'magic wands' since we didn't let her bring her wand from home!

She also enjoyed the cake - no surprise there! It was even decorated in purple so she was one happy girl.

I kind of wish we had a yard this big for Sophie to run around in - she was pretty exhausted after the party :) Tons of fun though! We are so lucky to have such a big wonderful family!

Love,

Kate, Andrew and Sophie
