I know, I know. No pictures in a month and a half - I am a bad blogger. The only excuse that I have is that my laptop died about a month ago and it is a lot less convenient to blog when I can't do it in front of the TV at night after work :) But regardless, we have some adorable pictures to share with you.
Mommy's birthday present was our first family Christmas Tree!! We went to a farm in Indiana to theoretically chop one down -- see the saw? :) Unfortunately, it was well below freezing and Mommy and Sophie did not have the stamina to find the perfect tree to cut down - so we went back to the main farm house and bought a pre-cut one :) It's beautiful nonetheless!!
On the way back from the Christmas tree adventure, the weather got really icy and we decided to pull off the road and get a bite to eat. This is Sophie at an Indiana location of Tumbleweed, wearing Mommy's hat and taking off her socks - Tumbleweed is a restaurant which my Vanderbilt friends might remember taking me to on a couple of birthdays in Nashville :)
The big news this week though is Sophie's dramatic debut - her first Christmas program! It was pretty hysterical. After spending the last two months sharing with us every single song she learns in school, Sophie clammed up for the concert and just watched everyone else :) Can't say it was a surprise but she still made a cute "shepherdess"!
Christmas pictures soon to follow -- I promise!!
Love,
Kate, Andrew and Sophie
