Happy Independence Day!!

Aka Mommy and Daddy's third to last to last day of freedom :) We had a pretty low key Fourth of July -- Mommy (Daddy wants to be clear it was Mommy!) declined a few invitations in favor of spending some quality family time before we start work, so we had a quiet day at home and then went over to Honey and Beebee's. We had a great brunch with our four year old waffle maker (a wedding present that lived in Candy and Dan's house until now) - Sophie had her first waffles and they were a hit! We chilled early in the day, took the dogs for a long walk and had a swimming date and dinner at Honey and Beebee's! Sophie really loves to swim and it was a nice, relaxing day. Mommy is remembering this Fourth of July as the last holiday that won't matter to her - as a stay at home mom, you sometimes forget the holidays - but starting Monday, Mommy will have a countdown to Labor Day :) We'll have some more pictures tomorrow since we have a swimming date with Mimi, Papa, and Uncle Daniel but we wanted to share some for today!

Oh yes and these last two pictures are just to show you the downside of having white dogs :) Apparently they got into the pumpkin patch in the backyard today -- and so of course a bath was in order! They are sweet but they are trouble!

Love,

Kate, Andrew and Sophie
