Sophie waves bye bye to Honey :( . . . but only for a month!

Greetings everyone!

This week's blog entry is dedicated to Sophie's very helpful grandmother, Honey! She helped us out so much with cooking and babysitting over the last few weeks, I don't know what we'll so without her! The real treat for us was eating dinner together (while Honey held the fussy munchkin) :)

In other news, Kate and I are very pleased to announce that Sophie Bear is officially HUGE! On Friday, she weighed in as the Ultimate Heavyweight Champion of the Apartment (Baby Division) at a massive 11 pounds 10 ounces! To celebrate, we made the move up to Size 3 nappies :)

Along with Sophie's great weight gain and near mastery of the art of head control, she's begun to bear a little weight when held upright! Thus, we thought she might be ready to try her "Learn 'N Groove." She loved it! Not only did she have fun stomping her feet, but our little genius has already figured out that pressing buttons makes them light up and make noise! She may look like me on the outside, but she's already showing evidence of mommy's "smarts!"

I hope everyone is well at home! Sophie can't wait to meet many of you at her Baptism - tentatively scheduled for the weekend of February 24-25th back in the 'ville!

Love,
Andrew
