Can you believe Sophie Bear is already 10 weeks old? She's nearly doubled in weight and developed loads of personality! And, perhaps I'm a biased father, but I think she has the cutest smile around!
We finally put up Sophie's mobile (her Christmas present) this week, and it was a big hit! It has lots of bright, primary colors to keep her attention and plays classical music! Finally something makes crib time lots of fun!
The little munchkin also tried out her first swing set this week! It was a great hand-me-down from Jim and Rebecca that Sophie loved right away! Mom and dad like it because it swings automatically and plays music - plenty of stimulation to keep her occupied while we cook dinner :)
Sophie broke through gender barriers this week, too. She proved that, yes, little girls can wear blue and look good doing it :) Pictured here is another smocked number that talented Honey made for her. She showed it off on an outing to visit mommy's work friends!
Finally, mommy and Honey took Sophie on a shopping trip yesterday while I was on call. Guess what they bought? Her first pair of jeans! Isn't she quite stylish in these embroidered, bell-bottomed "hippy" jeans? If you look closely, you can see her practice her sullen, teenager-like "Dad, you're so uncool!" look :)Well, we're off to bed - fingers crossed that the muchkin sleeps!
