Hi folks!Sophie has had a busy couple of days!
She lost a little too much weight over the first few days and she became a bit jaundiced. So, we had to take her in both days for check-ups with the paediatrician. No fun! The little munchkin had to get lots of blood tests done!The good news is that she is starting to put on a little weight and the blood results are getting better. And, of course, she's active, alert and likes to play with mommy and daddy :)
Mia is always there too to make things better when Sophie gets back from her appointments :) Her next doctor visit is Wednesday, so send lots of prayers that things will continue to improve!
Despite all the crummy doctor visits, we have had time for some fun things. Sophie had her first bath! Mommy was very gentle with her and Sophie was a great sport. She looked at us as if to say "It's about time you cleaned me up - what with all these pictures you're taking!"
The other bit of excitement came when daddy gave Sophie her first lesson about Kentucky sports. She put on her best outfit and we cheered the Cats to victory over Georgia!What an action-packed few days! We'll keep you posted as Sophie expands her repertoire of silly faces and other talents!

Kate and Andrew, how dare you put that adorable, precious baby girl is something so horrible!!!! Do I need to come take her away and teach her the right ways??? Savannah would love that!
