Well, what a difference three weeks makes! The snow was fun, but oh my gosh, are we excited for spring!! We broke out Sophie's tricycle today that she hadn't quite mastered last summer, but it was a huge hit today! She got right on it and we rode several blocks around the neighborhood! She told me "I love my tricycle!" We were so proud of our big girl - as usual! I think we're about ready to take off that push bar now! We got to swing too, and Sophie helped Mommy and Daddy wash all the salt and snow nastiness off of our cars :) Daddy is prepping his vegetable garden and we are so excited about the warm weather!
Sophie is a trip these days as usual! She is very into the Wizard of Oz and will tell you "terrible stories" about the Wicked Witch of the West! She is still a huge talker and has almost learned to write her name! The S is the hardest part :) Yesterday, Mimi brought Sophie to lunch with Mommy and Papa and Sophie brought a little note pad that she was scribbling on and said she was "writing words." Well she left the note pad at the restaurant and got really upset - she told Mimi "I lost my words - without my words, how can I make a conversation?"
Mommy and baby brother are still doing good! The last doctor's appointment was a week ago and Mommy's blood pressure and everything was great. This week is the infamous glucose tolerance test which should be interesting - we didn't do that one in Ireland so it's a new one on me!
Happy March everyone! Only 86 days till baby brother's due date!
