We've made this announcement to family and friends in private but we thought we should finally introduce our newest addition on the blog! We are delighted to announce that Sophie will become a big sister this summer! Baby BROTHER is due on the 1st of June! We are incredibly excited although Sophie is finding it hard to believe that she's not getting a baby sister - we figure she'll come around by the time he arrives. We are fairly certain that he is destined to be tortured by his older sister and two older girl cousins :) We've had a fair amount of ultrasounds so far on this pregnancy so thought we would document the little guy's development!!
Our first ultrasound at barely 6 weeks - we got to hear the heartbeat and see our little bean - really just a blob at that stage :)
Two weeks later, baby brother is taking form :) This was our 8 week shot!
Here he is at 10 weeks, looking VERY babylike!
Our 12 week ultrasound - great profile! It's hard to believe all that development happened in just 6 weeks!
And our little guy at 18 weeks! We are incredibly grateful that everything has gone well so far and ask for everyone's prayers that this continues to be an uneventful and normal pregnancy :) He is a very active little guy and Mommy is enjoying lots of kicks and rolls in her belly! Daddy even can feel them now, so it's all starting to feel real!! Very exciting! Love,
