Last weekend, we got to enjoy some pre-Halloween festivities!! We did a Halloween party at our local park, a fall festival at Holy Spirit, and of course - pumpkin carving with great uncle Mo!! Mo has a family tradition of making some pretty unique jack-o-lanterns - see his latest masterpiece above! Sophie loved it this year and especially loved her Halloween treats. She is gearing up for her metamorphoses on Saturday into a beautiful purple butterfly - we are just hoping that the rain is not as bad as they say because Sophie is really excited about trick or treating!! You will notice that in some of the pictures below, Sophie is dressed as a doctor - an orthopedic surgeon, to be exact :) (You can imagine the looks on people's faces when they asked what she was!) The story behind that is that Mommy didn't realize that you actually need a Halloween costume a couple weeks before Halloween because of all of the fun parties - but Daddy came to the rescue with his idea to dress up her in play doctor outfit! I think it worked out pretty well :) This fall has flown by and we can't believe Sophie is going to be three in just four days!!
